A different list from the one above, and deliberately so. More
A different list from the one above, and deliberately so. Volume counts a decade of decided filings; this counts what is sitting in the queue today, which DOL's disclosure files cannot show because every row in them already has a decision. Read each figure against the sponsor's own tracked total beside it: everything filed and still waiting is a very different position from a long steady record with a slice outstanding.

Whose cases DOL is deciding fastest, and slowest

Median days from filing to decision, last 90 days, busier sponsors only. More

Filing to decision, median, over the last 90 days, for the 133 sponsors with at least 20 decisions in that time. A sponsor well under the all-employers figure had cases decided out of filing order; one well over it usually had audits or requests for information. DOL doesn't say why.

How sponsors are counted

DOL prints the legal entity name typed on the form. Spellings that differ only by punctuation or a company suffix are counted as one sponsor here.

Your employer is on the list?

Their volume doesn’t change your place in line. The decision estimator takes your filing month.

Managing a docket?

Wages by occupation, volume by state, and every figure's recipe in the methodology.

The basics

Is my company still filing PERM?

Search it above. Each employer's page shows filings by year and pending cases in the live queue, so a sponsorship pause shows up as filings stopping. The data records what was filed, never company policy: it can't say whether a pause ends.

Why does one company appear more than once?

Names appear exactly as DOL prints them, and DOL prints one company under several legal entities and spellings. PERM Tracker links the spellings it can match on each employer's page rather than silently merging federal records.

What each source includes

Case data: Decided PERM cases only. A case still waiting is not in here, so counts and durations describe finished cases, not the queue.

Employers and firms: Employers, law firms and occupations ranked from decided cases only.

Per-case statuses: Every PERM case DOL indexes, pending included. No wage, law firm or worksite: DOL reveals those only when a case is published.
