A few ladders jump rather than climb, and a jump is the signature of two populations sharing one row. GA rises 3.3 times between the median and the 75th, from $30,202 to $100,000, and NC and AR jump too. A median taken across a jump falls inside it, describing a wage few of the filings behind it actually offer.
Each row is one state's certified offers, cut at seven points, ordered by how many cases it files. These come from the pre-computed cells rather than from the controls above, so they cover the whole window and every state at once. The explorer recomputes the middle five over whatever you select.
