Late September reached past DOL to the steps that follow a PERM, and made the alerts quieter and more useful.
USCIS, from its own quarterly files
- USCIS processing times: every form's median, quarter by quarter, from USCIS's performance data.
- I-485 by field office: what each office received, approved, denied and holds, and how many quarters of work it holds at its pace.
- Approved I-140s awaiting a visa: the count by category and country of birth.
Each file is checked against its own totals before anything is stored.
Follow an employer
Every employer page has a follow box. It emails when DOL moves that employer's cases as a group: a batch put on hold or released, or a day of decisions well above the employer's own pace. Employers under review shows the same moves, dated, and names who acted: a hold is DOL's, an appeal is the employer's.
One alert email a day
Several updates for one address now wait and go out together, at most one email a day.
Estimates that are graded
The estimate scorecard records a sample of our estimates every day, before the outcome, and grades each one once DOL decides. Nobody picks the cases.
